on a less sombre note..

i think that the commencement ceremonies have a special place in all the UCC ushers hearts. seriously, its like something we all look foward to every year! that and the Rally, and the Ren Ci show.

but nothing beats working 7am to 11pm every day for 8 (?) days? i rem my record was 12 ceremonies. in a row. those were fun days.. fond memories of stupid things we did come to mind.. like sneaking food into the hall, packing the books. THE IGLOO!!! (this was in the first year) heh. bohemian rhapsopdy. (second year) STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKES (first year). i take full credit for coining that term. robing the graduates (first and second.. i think). robing super bo chup masters students who look so frumpy in their gowns i just had to help them. making fun of the MCs(last year). heh. doing our own ad lib. hey, i even had my fellow compare Desmond to sign in and off with me!! tee hee.

i really miss doing the ceremonies, but at the same time, i feel so proud that the juniors have come so far!! look at my own team!! David and I cannot help but beam with pride when we read the emails and see how the group has matured.. and then there are the other teams whom i've also gotten close to. there's nothing in the world that would make me give up that any of those memories..

like kits, i also want to hug everyone back at ucc!! we need a gathering soon.
